Once you find out that the person is missing, you must immediately report it to the nearest police station.
Secondly, acquire all the necessary information that can assist in locating the missing person as follows: Latest photograph of the person, age of the missing person, the type of clothes he/she was last seen wearing, identify any body marks or tattoos, colour of the skin or complexion, e.g Light or dark, type of hair style, dental formula, identify the places he/she frequents.
Lastly the complainant must ensure that he/she is provided with the enquiry number before leaving the station.
Soon after the incident is reported to the local police station, the search operation will be activated immediately composed of various police Units led by the Search and Rescue.
Please note that when a person helps in hiding a missing child, he/she will be charge with abduction, according to Ngeope.
