TZANEEN: Funeral parlour vehicle thugs remains in custody

Two suspects briefly appeared at the Ritavi Magistrate court on two counts vehicle theft.

It is alleged that the complainant, (30) who is employed as a driver of the Lindeni Funeral Parlour was at a liqour outlet at Bonn village outside Letsitele together with his colleague during the late hours on a Saturday in July.

“He was drinking liquor, when he saw his colleague suddenly collapsed where he immediately tried to rescue him,” the police said.

Then emanated two African females who requested to assist in the matter.

The complainant started fell asleep and was surprised to wake up in the bushes the following morning.

‘He discovered that the two Hyundai(H1) Micro bus belonging to Lindeni funeral parlour were missing,’ according to the police.

Police were notified and the Tzaneen Vehicle Inquiry Unit was activated to assist in the matter.

The two suspects, Puputi Dollen Khosa(30) and Senzo Mbongwa(33) were arrested while in possession of the two stolen vehicles at Sekororo after the police got a tipped off.

Lindeni Funeral Parlour owner, Mr Maeteko commanded the police for their speedy.

The suspects appeared at Ritavi Magistrate court and were remanded in custody pending further investigatio, they will reappear on October 23.
